Dassel-Cokato Area Help

Three ways to get help:
  1. Ask God. Pray. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34) You are precious in the eyes of the Lord. We know this because of Jesus.
  2. Search for help on your own. This webpage has a list of resources. Click here to see it.
  3. Ask someone you know for help. Ask them to pray with you. Don't try to face things alone. Don't be proud.

Here's some important advice:
If you are having a hard time and don't know what to do, if you feel like giving up, please reach out to a trusted friend, or family member.  If you have promised to keep something "secret," and if that secret is hurting you, you do not need to remain silent. If you are part of a church, contact your pastor or someone who you know who has spiritual wisdom. Pastors and other spiritual leaders are usually trustworthy and safe people to turn to in times of trouble. If you ever suspect that a spiritual leader or counselor is not safe, report them to the police, to their church leadership (board or council or denominational authority) or let another pastor know of your concern.

You don't need to be alone!

  • If you don't know who to contact, please call us at Crossroads or call or text our pastor. Over the years the Lord has led us to help financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. We have helped people pay bills, buy gas, find rides. We have helped with many other needs as the Lord has directed us to do so.
  • For personalized help by phone, text or face-to-face in the location of your choice -- contact Pastor Steve Thorson 763-291-3499. Text or leave a message, we will get back to you. Or email steve@equalsharing.com
